Cell Reprogramming Technology
CIB-CRTech™
Prof. Shinya Yamanaka of Japan received the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine in 2012. He developed a technology to make “induced pluripotent stem cells(iPSCs). The technology inserts a gene into a virus and turns a mature cell into a pluripotent cell. Since its development, researchers have investigated cell reprogramming methods based on gene transfer with a drug carrier and low molecular compounds. We make iPSCs with our patent technology for nano-drug delivery, CIB-nDTechTM, to deliver genes. The application areas of iPSCs are diverse including cell therapy products, human tissue development, and drug screening.
